We are a national franchise and are in the process of growing our local team. We are looking for a person to fill our field technician role. Both men and women make great Surface Experts techs, but there are a few requirements that help us determine whether someone will have the skill set to be able to learn quickly.

Who We Want
We are seeking a full time spot repair technician to join our growing team. Surface Experts spot repair technicians repair damages such as cuts, burns, chips, and gouges on a variety of surfaces. A spot repair technicians must be a problem solver, be a motivated self-starter, and have an eye for detail. Experience with art, painting, woodworking, graphic design (even as a hobby) is a plus. Surface Experts is a growing company so we are seeking a long-term team member who will advance and grow along with our company.
Requirements: Repair technicians must be able to meet the following criteria:
- Experience of working with your hands, whether that’s in construction, manufacturing, artist, painting or even a hobby.
- Have the ability to see and match color (cannot be color blind)
- Conduct themselves professionally during customer interactions
- Provide topnotch customer service
- Have high attention to detail
- Work independently with excellent work ethic
- Manage time to stay on track of daily schedules
- Occasionally work in cramped or awkward positions
- Occasionally kneel for long periods
- Be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and climb stairs
- Have a clean, insurable driving record and a valid state driver’s license
- Pass a background check
- Can make at least a 2-year commitment because of the extensive training
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

We pride ourselves in our ability to provide incredibly fast service, while maintaining a friendly and professional atmosphere in our support center and on jobsites. We combine old school skill sets with new technology and products, resulting in a durable and appealing repair all provided with a smile.
- Most repairs are simple and smaller than a dinner plate, yet our competition focuses on complete resurfacing. Our objective is a happy customer and a long-term relationship. We focus on saving our customers time, money and wasted materials that end up in a landfill.
- Our typical repair requires only 1 to 2 tablespoons of product so our technicians can carry their entire set of tools and equipment in a small vehicle. Our approach is clean and free of odors in less than two hours.
